How accessible this website is, and how to tell us when it is not.

What we have done

• Every chart carries a written description, and the tables underneath give the same figures as text — so nothing is available only as a picture.
• Forecast years are shown with a dashed line and a shaded band and a label, never by colour alone.
• The site works from the keyboard alone, with a visible outline on whatever is focused and a “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
• Choosing an area works without JavaScript, and every view has its own web address.
• Text reflows to phones and tablets without sideways scrolling, tested down to 375 pixels wide.
• Motion is reduced automatically if your device asks for that.

Where we know it falls short

• The charts are detailed, and on a small phone some axis labels are thinned out to stay legible. The table below each chart always carries the full figures.
• The downloadable data is a spreadsheet, which is not as accessible as a web page.
